Mastitis Control Without Disturbing Symbiotic Udder Microbiome

The PPT was part of a lecture delivered by Dr. Abdul Samad to the veterinarian fraternity. The focus of the lecture was to discuss the emerging understanding of microbiome and its role in udder health. He has argued that the future mastitis control program will focus on no use of germicides whereas in severe mastitis cases where antibiotics have been used, replenishing the microbiome could be a befitting strategy.
